| We are looking for a pre-school aged child to join our Nanny-Share in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of NW DC. This child would preferably be 2 ˝ - 3 ˝ years old. We are currently hosting the share in our home just 2 blocks south of the Georgia Ave./Petworth metro station. Our nanny has been with us for over 2 years of our 3 year old daughter’s life. In addition to daily care, children in the share will be taking part in a 3 day a week home-based pre-school group where our Nanny and another parent will use early childhood curriculum to give 3-6 children an opportunity to have one on one care, early childhood education and small group socialization. The current hours for the Nanny-Share are 8:30am- 2:30pm M-F with the possibility of the day ending as late as 5 or 6pm as needed by parents. We would like to start the interviewing process as soon as possible and would begin the share in Aug/Sept. 2009 in time for the school year.
