| I just found out there is hand-scooped ice cream and Arthur's Grocery on the corner of 11th and Lamont. Two scoops for $2.25 -- great late-night snack! |

Which ice cream is it? I.e. if they just pop open a container from their freezer, might as well by the container for $1.50, no? |

I just went by there tonight and apparently they are open until 11 on weeknights. |

Sweet. I'm all over it. Carvel was crap and Baskin Robbins is far and not the nicest place to walk to at nite, so Im psyched for this. _________________ Adam Aaronson

To me, it tasted like classic Hershey's ice cream out of the multi-gallon buckets that restaurants use.
They only had 8 or 10 flavors the other night, but there were some good ones, e.g., butter pecan, oreo, strawberry, chocolate, etc. I don't know if they'll have it during the winter months so enjoy it while you still can!
If they had a sign in the window & some outdoor tables, they could probably draw more of the post-Red Rocks dessert crowd. Should we suggest it to the owners? |
