Last month, I started a discussion about the service at Giant, and I mentioned I sent them a letter. Well, they finally answered me.
I received an email back from a supervisor in Giant's consumer affairs department. She apologized for the poor service and said they have hired a new front end manager and customer service manager at the Tivoli store who are addressing these issues. She said that I should speak to Danny if I have any concerns. I assume the same goes for any of you. In her words, Danny "is confident you will notice an improvement."
That would be wonderful. For what it's worth, the woman who rung me up last night did not throw any heavy objects on top of my produce. That was my biggest complaint from the beginning, so perhaps it will be a happier year after all. |

| To be honest, I have noticed a large improvement in the lines and service this past week. Thanks for the update! |

I went a few times this week, and one of the times I saw 3 or 4 "management" type of people (the suits/sport jackets and ties gave them away.. lol) roaming the floor. Hope that's a trend and not just a one of spot check. Saw Danny too.. did not speak to him though as he was busy giving instructions to other staff. Way to go D.. |
