in Columbia Heights and vicinity -

| Dogs By Day on 14th street (around R or T) is great (www.dogsbyday.com). It is cageless boarding so they require that you bring your dog in advance to be evaluated for 2 hours to make sure he is not aggressive with other dogs. Reservations are required for weekend boarding. |

| On the same topic, anyone know of a good kennel that would be significantly cheaper for a longer stay? $48/night plus feeding is off the hook. |
