The abandoned Bi-Rite store on 3400 11th Street NW (11th St and Park Rd NW) will be converted to a 4-story 13,000 sq. ft. mixed-use development. The first level and cellar will be used for commercial (sit down restaurant and small eatery). The second through fourth levels will be residential condominiums.
The former Giant Food site was sold to Metro Properties, Inc. by Douglas Development. Metro Properties will build a 315 unit residential condominium building on this site called Allegro.
Highland Park features 229 luxury condominium units with street-level retail.
Kenyon Square is a luxury condominium development with ground level retail spaces. It will have 153 one to two bedroom condominium units. It is conveniently located adjacent to the Columbia Heights Metro Station.
The Lamont Street Lofts will have 38 loft condominium units. These units will feature gourmet kitchens, concrete floors, and exposed ceiling beams.
Lofts of Columbia Heights will feature 56 one, two, and three bedroom condominium units with 20,000 sq. ft. of ground level retail. 
Park Triangle will offer 117 luxury apartment units (one to two bedrooms) for rent and ground-level retail.
The Barcelona is a five story, 63-unit condominium development that will be built on Parcel 32, a site formerly owned by 
Tivoli Towns are townhouse-style, two-level condominiums directly behind the newly renovated Tivoli Theatre. Many of the units have a private garage space.
Verona Parc is a 33-unit condominium development that will be built on Parcel 19, a site formerly owned by 
Victory Heights will offer 75 apartment units for seniors. It is adjacent to the Columbia Heights Metro Station at the intersection of 14th and Irving Streets NW.
View14 is a nine story condominium building that will be built on the site of the former Petrovitch auto body shop building and the Comcast satellite dish cluster. It feature 170 condominium units and 14,000 sq. ft. of ground-level retail.

Major Retail Coming to Columbia Heights
Columbia Heights is poised to become the shopping destination for the entire Washington, DC area. Hundreds of thousands of square feet of retail space are in the works including DC USA, a 500,000 sq. ft. retail complex that will include major retailers such as Target, Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, and possibly Whole Foods Market!
