| Heidi Bruggink | Signed on: Mon 22 Jan 2007 15:34:21 CST A Whole Foods in Columbia Heights would be an excellent addition to the neighborhood! I live in the neighborhood but have to travel to the Whole Foods in Logan Circle for organic products. I would definitely use Whole Foods as my primary grocery store if it were in Columbia Heights, and the parking would not be a consideration - as I am certain it would not be for many of my neighbors, who often choose to live in the heart of the city becuse they do not need to own a car. |

| Banafsheh Ghassemi | Signed on: Sun 14 Jan 2007 09:52:43 CST I am a resident of Mount Pleasant and a Whole Foods customer. I believe Whole Foods will have a positive impact on the vitality of both Mount Pleasant and Columbia Heights as it has for the Logan Circle area. It will minimize the need for a drive to the other Whole Foods locations in the city. It will create jobs for the neighborhood. It will provide a social gathering place for the residents of the neighborhood and will bring a responsible business to our neighborhood. I urge the development company and the city to do all it can to resolve the parking issue, assuming it is still an issue. Thank you. |

| Danna Basson | Signed on: Mon 11 Dec 2006 18:58:24 CST I am a regular Whole Foods customer, but I am new to Columbia Heights. I do not have a car and will not make it to 14th and P very often, if at all, to schlep my groceries back home. So I ma likely to shop at the Giant UNLESS the Whole Foods opens in my neighborhood! I would love it if there was a Whole Foods in the area! |

| Gavin | Signed on: Thu 07 Dec 2006 10:32:19 CST I am a regular Whole Foods customer, but since I just moved to Columbia Heights, and since Giant is only a block or two away, I plan to shop there....UNLESS Whole Foods opens a location in Columbia Heights! Since I got rid of my car, I do not want to travel all the way to 14th and P, with bags of heavy groceries, or worse, have to pay for a cab. PLEASE open in Columbia Heights!!!! |

| Julia Kingham | Signed on: Sat 02 Dec 2006 10:08:49 CST I am a new resident in Columbia Height and I go to Whole Foods on 14th and P at least twice a week. It would be very nice to have Whole Foods close by. I am sure many residents like myself will be walking there and not using parking, not to mention all those people that will occupy the condos across the street. |

| Karim Nehdi | Signed on: Fri 24 Nov 2006 19:37:20 CST Whole Foods can assist in transforming yet another DC neighborhood by employing and feeding the community members. Cars will be sufficiently accomodated, but the true stakeholders will be those that walk to shop and work. |
