My family and I are enthusiastic about the possibility of a Whole Foods in our neighborhood and would typically walk the three blocks to the market. We frequent the Whole Foods store on P St. NW but find it too crowded and inconvenient for normal weekly shopping. We would purchase at the Whole Foods in Columbia Heights much more frequently.

I don\'t shop at the Whole Foods on P St because the Giant in Columbia Heights is so conveninet. It would be a different story if I had a Whole Foods within walking distance. |

Whole Foods is wonderful and I would love, love, love for it to be part of the neighborhood. Please hear our pleas, and iron out the deal discrepancies to make this possibility a certainty. |

I would so much like to be able to run over to Whole Foods with my child in the stroller when I just need some bread and milk. Getting in the car to go to P Street does not fit with the kind of lifestyle I chose by living in an urban environment, yet I hate having to compromise by purchasing milk with growth hormones and antibiotics at Safeway or Giant (they only sell overpriced UHT ultra-pasteurized organic milk, which tastes bad). Many of our household staples are 365 brand, but going to P Street is a pain! I mainly drive over there alone late at night, but since I am usually too tired after getting the kids to bed, I tend to procrastinate and delay my shopping. This is lost revenue for Whole Foods! |

Whole Foods would bring a great alternative and complement to the New Giant. It would capture customers from U St, Columbia Heights, Mount Pleasant, Petworth, 16th St. Heights.. Can not the lot plan of DC USA be altered a bit to get at least closer to their desired size? |

Whole Foods in Colombia Heights would do extremely well. You would capture the neighboring Petworth neighborhood as well. |

Parking shouldn\'t be the dealbreaker. The old days of hopping in a gas-guzzling car to go to the store are coming to an end especially in urban areas. We need to think about slightly smaller stores within walking distance to active communities like ours. Whole Foods has the perfect opportunity, products and corporate outlook to do this. |

Both Whole Foods and the Columbia Heights neighborhood would benefit from the addition of a new store. The P Street store is simply too crowded at all times. |

Do you want Whole Foods Market to come to the DC USA retail complex? If so, sign our petition! At the minimum, please provide your name, email, and a brief comment stating your support.
