Major Retail Coming to Columbia Heights

DC USA

Columbia Heights is poised to become the shopping destination for the entire Washington, DC area.  Hundreds of thousands of square feet of retail space are in the works including DC USA, a 500,000 sq. ft. retail complex that will include major retailers such as Target, Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, and possibly Whole Foods Market!  More exciting retailers are planning to open in the newly renovated Tivoli Square and other developments across Columbia Heights.  Read more in the Retail News section.

View14Columbia Heights is abuzz with new residential developments.  It is difficult to keep track of all of them.  We have added a few more new developments to our Residential News section including View14, a nine-story condominium building that will feature 170 units and 14,000 sq. ft. of ground-level retail.  It will be built on the former Petrovitch auto body shop site.  The following are other residential developments that we have just added:

The Barcelona  The Barcelona

Verona Parc  Verona Parc

Victory Heights  Victory Heights

Allegro Condominiums has just updated their website with estimated pricing, floorplans, an updated map.  A new sign has been posted on the former Giant Food site advertising the new condominium development.

We will continue to add new residential developments as we learn of them.  We will try to focus on the larger developments.  There are a myriad of old rowhomes that are being converted into multi-unit condominiums and apartments.  If you own such properties, feel free to list them on our forum.  Please go to the Homes For Sale or For Rent section.
