The abandoned Bi-Rite store on 3400 11th Street NW (11th St and Park Rd NW) will be redeveloped by 3DG, LLC.  The site will give rise to a 4-story 13,000 sq. ft. mixed-use development.  The basement and first levels will be used for commercial (sit down restaurant and small eatery).  The second through fourth levels will be residential condominiums.

More Retail at Park Triangle

The following is an update from Ernie Marcus of Park Triangle Apartments concerning the retailers that will be coming to Park Triangle's ground-level retail space:

The current done deals are as follows:

• Citibank
• 0xxo Cleaners
• Pollo Campero with outdoor seating
• T-Mobile
• Allstate
• Federal Credit Union

Possible deals:

• Bedding store
• Hair Salon

Hoped for/Early discussions underway:

Neighborhood type restaurant with outdoor seating or Coffee House.

On last point, I welcome specific ideas and lobbying. We have a 2,400 sq.ft. space that we are holding out for such use. We are talking up the space but there is still resistance to the neighborhood from restaurant people who think it's still too early. We don't agree.
