Major Retail Coming to Columbia Heights

Columbia Heights is poised to become the shopping destination for the entire Washington, DC area. Hundreds of thousands of square feet of retail space are in the works including DC USA, a 500,000 sq. ft. retail complex that will include major retailers such as Target, Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, and possibly Whole Foods Market! Carvel Coming to Tivoli Square

Some of you may have already seen the new banner that has just been put up in front of one of the empty Tivoli Square retail spaces. It announces that a new ice cream shop, Carvel, will be coming to Columbia Heights! It will occupy the space between Wachovia and the future Kudo Beans coffee shop. Cinnabon is also displayed on the banner. We are assuming that this location will be selling Cinnabon products as well as Carvel ice cream. Both Carvel and Cinnabon are owned by FOCUS Brands.
