New Deli Opens on 11th St

A new deli cafe called Franklin's has just opened on 11th and Lamont Streets NW. It has created a lot of early buzz and people's reactions have been very positive so far. We gave the owner a call this afternoon. He had limited time as he was serving customers but he did provide us with his hours of operation. He told us that his hours are not firm because he needs more time to gauge the market.

More Dining Added

We have also added two additional restaurants to our Dining and Nightlife pages:

Ben's Chili Bowl has been a local landmark for decades and is located in the burgeoning U Street Corridor. A Columbia Heights resident has provided an excellent review of the establishment. Domku Bar & Cafe is a charming Scandanavian/Slavic-style restaurant located in the Petworth neighborhood. They serve excellent food. A review will be posted soon.
