El Rinconcito II Café is a highly regarded restaurant and bar in the Columbia Heights community.  They serve excellent Salvadoran and Mexican cuisine.  DCist had some good words to say about this restaurant.

Ive eaten there a couple of times. The service is very good and the food delicious. 
The Ensalada de Fruta Drink is a must.. 
Im going there right now.
